The End User Service Analyst role will support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes imaging, installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading assets for deployment to customer facing sites as well as internal sites. The right candidate will maintain reports on activities, track projects, prepare metrics, maintain inventory levels, and provide recommendations on emerging technology. This position will conduct research on computer products in support of procurement and development in an effort to evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase. Role acts as a point of contact for hardware and will involve multiple teams and departments within DHL.
Key Accountabilities:
•\tPrepare, maintain and uphold procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring hardware levels and their correct registration in our systems (GSN, AD, ITHAM, etc.•\tMonitor and test performance of IT assets and provide statistics/reports•\tAccurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal/recycling•\tSupport administration of IT user support plans and processes to effectively resolve user hardware and software problems•\tImage, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware and software•\tWhere required, provide on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of related assets•\tAssist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware needs•\tLiaise with cross-functional teams on providing recommendations on IT assets•\tIf necessary, liaise with third-party support and vendors•\tData analysis and data reporting•\tCreation/Enhancement and Analysis of the reporting by PowerShell Scripts•\tAnalyze and conduct research on computer products, support the procurement and development process to keep up with emerging technologies•\tConstruct and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems•\tMonitor all printers in US and the associated service, inventory, and billing•\tDocument best practices and adhere to laid down standards and processes•\tProvide technical functional guidance, advice and training to other teammates
Skills/Qualifications:
•\tExperienced Professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional IT field•\tBS/BA in related discipline, A+ Certification, or related experience•\tAttention to detail and data analysis skills a must•\tProject Management experience a must•\tGlobal Service Now (GSN) knowledge is a must•\tHands-on hardware troubleshooting experience•\tAbility to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories•\tAble to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation•\tEffective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills•\tStrong written and oral communication skills•\tAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment•\tAnalytical and problem-solving abilities
