**The Opportunity**
_We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced_ **_End User Computing Architect_** _to join our Digital and Information Technology team._ The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end user computing solutions that enhance productivity and user experience across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Windows environments and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier partners to ensure seamless integration and support.
**The Team**
**Black & Veatch’s Business Enablement** consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible. Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design and architect end user computing solutions to support a diverse application portfolio with an emphasis on engineering titles.
+ Develop and implement strategies for managing and securing end user devices, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
+ Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to assess and address end user computing needs, providing technical guidance and support.
+ Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to optimize end user experience.
+ Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft Windows operating systems and related core applications.
+ Monitor and analyze fleet health and performance to proactively identify and address issues to ensure optimal user experience.
+ Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Experience with cloud-based end user computing solutions, such as Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop or Amazon WorkSpaces.
+ Experience with endpoint security solutions, such as Crowdstrike, Rapid 7 and Zscaler.
+ Experience working with the ITIL service management framework.
+ Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Experience coordinating activities of in-house and vendor technical teams.
+ Proven experience as an End User Computing Architect or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Windows environments.
+ Experience configuring and managing Windows device management solutions, Microsoft Endpoint Management (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
+ Experience with use of user experience management tools for fleet management.
+ Knowledge of scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, to streamline end user computing processes
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
**Minimum Qualifications**
