Key responsibilitiesResponsible for working with Kerry’s Transportation Management, 3PL data and workflows, and 3PL (Third Party Logistics) onboarding to ensure that loads were delivered to customers by the best means possible (5%). Manage the setup and maintenance of the TMS (Transportation Management Systems) with regards to rates, routes, mode selection, optimization, auto tendering, carrier reporting, new carrier additions, data analytics, company KPI reporting, troubleshooting issues, and TMS training (5%). Manage the setup and maintenance of central transportation and 3PL data with regards to new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) warehouse setup, workflow management, data analytics, and data monitoring (0%). Partner with ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) business engagement regarding 3PL integration setup, issue mitigation, optimization, and serve as the company SME on all things TMSrelated, as well as the SME on 3PL supply chain network requirements, configuration, and workflow (5%). Ensure that communication between the TMS and ERP systems was properly executed (5%). Partner and collaborate with other functional areas as needed, including Customer Service, Operations, Inventory Control, ICT, and Procurement (0%). Keep current on industry trends and enhancements to the world of TMS (5%). Serve as a liaison for E2Open with regards to payment issues, technical support, system failures, etc. (5%). Manage yearly freight spend of $200 million and identify freight savings opportunities (20%). Manage $170 million in inventory at 95% accuracy across 33 corporate DCs (10%). Ensure the procurementto- pay process for Central Logistics and Distribution was efficient and streamlined (10%). Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs were met and communicated (5%). Manage the logistics function transition to the Global Business Centre model (10%). Manage Third Party Logistics (3PL) partners' integration data and Warehouse Management Systems capabilities (10%). Manage Central Logistics revenue reporting and attainment at key fiscal periods (5%).
Qualifications and skillsThis position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Information systems, Logistics, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of experience in Digital Technology, Order to Invoice, Logistics/Transportation Management, or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Interpreting ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) code and design elements and applying code to practical day to day operations such as enabling decision making and communications for Order management, freight planning and payables and warehouse operations; (2) Operating BluJay or a similar TMS (Transportation Management System) to complete design, master data governance, configuration design, maintenance, administrative governance, technology enhancements, system reporting, strategic operating model, and execution of transportation management system that enables electronic communication and systemic execution of transport; (3) Employ book-to-book and financial management to design, master data governance, configuration design, and technology enhancements for SAP functionality that enables our inventory team to electronically pull in distribution centers inventory and SAP inventory to ensure inventory accuracy between two systems; (4) Building applications using SAP ECC ( ERP Central Component), BI ( Business Intelligence; (5) EDI transaction codes and design to ensure all integration nodes between ERP (SAP) and vendors is designed and maintained to automate/deliver upon digital requirements; (6) Integrating dry, reefer, bulk, intermodal, LTL (Less Than Truckload) – TL (Truckload) – LCL (Less Than Container Load) – FCL (Full Container Load) to performed in the TMS to maintain communication between the vendor and our transportation management system to enable automated scheduling of freight, payables, reporting, digital track and trace, along with other core business compliance requirements; and (7) Applying transport operations and transportation strategies to support the realization of regional and global growth strategy and drive digital transformation to increase efficiencies, align a standard process, and simplify the operating model. Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of domestic travel for Development and Deployment of technical advances and solutions at multiple worksites.
RATE OF PAY: $ 104,541.00 - $ 126,334.00 per year
