What You'll Do You will deliver onboarding, up-skilling and intervention training for sales development and sales representatives in Avalara's Pune office. This role is critical to accelerating ramp rate of new employees to lead generation and sales quotas, and creating the conditions of success for sellers in role. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Key Responsibilities: Training Delivery Deliver and manage sales training outputs that cover product knowledge, selling skills and effective process/tool usage. Ensure a practical, hands-on perspective to the training, ensuring that the training is grounded in real-world scenarios and sales situations. Assist in creating examples, case studies, and role-playing activities that are relevant to the sales environment. LOB Insights Collaborate with instructional designers in a consultative role in the creation of impactful sales enablement training outputs, including product, tools and skill-based training materials, and asynchronous courses. Act as the key liaison between the sales team and the instructional designers. Represent specific skills, knowledge gaps, and challenges that the sales team faces and convey this information to the instructional designer to tailor the course content. Identify & Schedule SMEs Identify subject matter experts within LOB, marketing and other teams with strong skills, knowledge and experience who can best support intended training outcomes. Training Need Analysis Monitor key strategic initiatives, anecdotal rep and leader feedback to support training requests for triage. Strategic Plan Alignment Ensure all training outputs align to key performance indicators in order to demonstrate business impact. Sales Communication Support enablement operations communications team by directing pertinent information from sellers, sales leaders, marketing, and other relevant departments to ensure inclusion in Weekly Updates. Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Analyze sentiment data and anecdotal learner feedback from post-training surveys. Use data to continuously improve and refine training delivery. Ensure learning solutions are adaptable and scalable across different departments and teams. What You'll Need to be Successful Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in training delivery, with expertise in backwards design and content development. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful learning outputs. Strong knowledge of effective communication and interactivity strategies within a training environment. Strong experience in leading and delivering training sessions that facilitate measurable impact. Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills. Strong grasp on administration of learning management systems (WorkRamp). Preferred Skills: Expertise in public speaking. Strong analytical and organization skills. Strong command of information chunking. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
