COMPENSATION:
Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.

State - California: $24.00 - $25.09 per hour plus $3.00 overnight differential

This is a 1 shift EMT position. Shifts are Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm - 8-hours, 1 days per week, and are overtime eligible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE EMT:
· Accurately obtain and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure.
· Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patient’s cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.
· Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessment, including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.
· Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
· Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
· Give medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.
· Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.
· Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALLING REQUIREMENTS:
Experience - Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred RADT_i, or EMT certification preferred Licenses - Current Driver's License Special Requirements - Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
