Your Role as an EMS Trainer / Lead Installer As a remote-based leader, you’ll install and service Energy Management Systems (EMS) while training field technicians to ensure quality, safety, and system performance. Your responsibilities include: Installing and servicing EMS platforms for energy-efficient technologies and building automation. Developing and delivering classroom, on-site, and virtual training programs for new hires, engineers, and operators on EMS tools (e.g., real-time monitoring, load forecasting). Creating customized training materials, manuals, presentations, and simulation exercises. Conducting quality audits to ensure proper EMS installations and adherence to safety standards. Collaborating with system integrators, EMS vendors, and internal teams to align training with operational needs. Providing technical support and post-training follow-up to technicians. Staying current with EMS software upgrades and industry best practices. Managing client relationships and building industry connections to support account management. Tools & Support Fully stocked company vehicle (take-home option for travel). Company-issued iPad and iPhone. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. Qualifications

Required:

4+ years of experience in construction or facilities management. 3+ years of account management experience. EPA Certification. High school diploma or GED (trade school or apprenticeship preferred). Valid driver’s license and personal transportation for job-related travel (reimbursed).

Physical Requirements:

Climb ladders carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics) during occasional site visits. Willingness to wear PPE.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility for travel (less than 50% annually) for training, client visits, or meetings. Ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks.

Skills & Abilities:

Expertise in installing and servicing EMS, electrical systems, and building automation. Strong training and presentation skills to develop and deliver effective programs. Excellent verbal and written communication for client and team interactions. Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues. Time management to balance training, installations, and account management. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project (SharePoint and CRM knowledge a plus).
