All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule** **:** Full-Time **Shift** : Days **Location:** 2350 MEADOWS BLVD, Castle Rock, 80109 **The role you'll contribute:** The EMS Coordinator is a liaison with the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) providers working in a designated service area. Will collaborate with the EMS Medical Leadership to provide education and training to EMS providers at their local training sites, and in the field. Will participate in case review and quality assurance/improvement activities with local services. The EMS Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication and issue resolution with EMS leaders. The EMS Coordinator will participate in appropriate committees and initiatives when that work requires coordination with local EMS providers to ensure quality care across the continuum. The EMS Coordinator will collaborate with local EMS training programs to facilitate clinical training opportunities for their students. The EMS Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of American Heart Association classes in-house and throughout the community. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Research, develop, coordinate, conduct and evaluate a variety of training programs using instructional methodology that follow principles of adult learning styles. + Plan and administer American Heart Association classes in- hospital and throughout the community. Assist in administering AHA BLS Resuscitation Quality Improvement program. + Enlist, supervise, and evaluate contract instructors, support them with adequate preparation materials and utilize them appropriately for course instruction. + Develop new, innovative, and relevant teaching presentations for pre-hospital training and education driven by quality indicators and benchmarking data. **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** **Required qualifications:** + Associate + 4 Work Experience + Licensed Paramedic (PARA) + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) **Preferred qualifications:** + Bachelor's + BLS Instructor Certification + PEPP, PHTLS, AMLS, Hand-Tevy Instructor Credentials This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
