DescriptionThe incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Senior Staff Housing Supervisor in managing the staff accommodation.

Key Responsibilities\nAssists in rooms allocation for incoming and outgoing staff Plans and implements the employee room allocation\nPrepares rooms allocated\nConducts regularly inspections to ensure proper cleaning and the respect of housing rules and regulations as well as the good use of assets.\nCoordinates all necessary repairs and maintenance\nChecking pest control and reporting any requirements\nInspects all linen, utensils used by employees\nEnsure timely removal of sewages\nRecords water and electricity consumption in the staff house at the end of each month\nMaintains all employee notice boards\nTo continuously monitor the washers/driers, water pumps and dish antennas and inform Accommodation Manager of any irregularities.\nTo supervise cleaning work performed by the outsourced cleaning company, i.e. window cleaning, kitchen cleaning, general room cleaning, recreation room cleaning, TV room and staircase cleaning and report any irregularities.\nTo liaise with the watchmen and security guards in monitoring the visitor register and visiting hours. \nTo report the needs of the cooking gas and drinking water. \nTo be responsible for the safekeeping of the staff house keys.\nTo keep correct and up-to-date furniture, equipment, utensil, and linen inventories in the staff houses.\nTo assist with the exit formalities of employees leaving the services of the hotel.\nPerforms all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.\n\n

\n\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.\nTo ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.\nTo report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.\nPerforms any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.\n


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nEquivalent to a high school graduate.\n3 to 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position in Employees Housing operation\nPreferably in a 5 star hotel.\nLocal language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable)\nEnglish – oral and written skills\nAdditional language - beneficial\n
