Employee Wellness Psychologist, Remote
Overview Dartmouth Health Behavioral Health Solution team seeks an engaged and motivated Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This team provides behavioral health programs and initiatives to support DH’s goal of providing access to mental health care for its employees. In this fully virtual position, the Psychologist will provide acute and longitudinal clinical care to a patient population of healthcare employees. Responsibilities * Performs evaluation/assessment of * personal characteristics, including but not limited to abilities, aptitudes, intelligence, interests, motivations, neuropsychological functioning and personality; * psychological aspects of physical illnesses, accidents, injuries, or disabilities; * substance abuse/dependencies. * Observes, describes, diagnoses, evaluates, treats, consults, interprets and modifies human behavior by applying psychological principles, methods, or procedures to patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders or disabilities. * Utilizes major types of psychotherapy including, behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, family/couples, group, individual, psychodynamic and supportive therapies. * Supervision responsibility for psychiatric residents, predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychology fellows. * Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications * Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program. * Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program. * Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship from an APPIC accredited program.
