Job Title Employee Relations Specialist Agency Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Department Human Resources Proposed Minimum Salary $6,065.93 monthly Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Employee Relations Specialist $6,065.93 per month 1 Position College Station, Texas The Role at a Glance The Employee Relations Specialist, under direction, is responsible for helping parties resolve disputes through mediation or negotiation of informal resolution. This position works directly with employees in the organization to explore and assist them in determining options to help resolve conflicts, problematic issues or concerns, and to bring systemic concerns to the attention of the organization for resolution. This position manages and investigates employee complaints and appeals. The specialist will develop, implement, and oversee current programs aimed at increasing employee satisfaction. This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager. Qualifications of the Role + Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university or equivalency of education and experience. + Four years of demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, investigations, and/or related experience. + Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. Equivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree in a related field and six years of Employee Relations, investigations, and/or related experience or a high school diploma/GED with eight years of Employee Relations, investigations, and/or related experience. ​ About Us The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is an internationally recognized leader in emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance.
