Employee Relations Manager

We are seeking a personable, adaptable, and dynamic Employee Relations Manager to join our Human Resources department! The ideal candidate will have experience in the HR & Employee Relations function with experience in leading change and building lasting employee relationships within a business, as well as a good understanding of the HR department’s functions and requirements.

This position will be onsite in our Edison, NJ office, and will also require travel to our other office locations throughout the state when needed. We provide mileage reimbursement for all travel  

Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting thorough internal employee investigations as needed. Work closely with supervisors and managers to coach/train to resolve employee issues and administer corrective actions as needed. Responsible for accurate and timely documentation and record keeping of all employee investigations and issues. Coach supervisors and managers on policy interpretation and implementation as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Assists in implementation of updates to policies and procedures and employee handbooks. Maintains and updates HR related training record. Responsible for maintaining employee training records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or conducting workplace investigations. In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and professional reports. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Target salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 annually
