About the role

 

Lead, coach and develop a team of 12 ER Policy Advisors to deliver high quality ER advice and case management support to line managers at all levels across the organisation on wide range of complex and sensitive people management issues including attendance, performance, conduct, raising concerns, Equality Act, capability, and other employee relations issues.Manage the delivery of the advice line and case management services including workload allocation and service performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and quality standardsFoster a collaborative and high-performance team cultureProvide expert input on complex people matters , ensuring appropriate risk managementEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with HR CofE teams, HR Business Partners, Legal and other key stakeholders to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient serviceReporting into the ER Advisory Services Manager you will collaborate with wider HR teams and stakeholders to address complex ER matters and trendsContributing to the development and continuous improvement of the ER Advisory Service

 

About You

Experience of leading HR, Employee Relations team to deliver business needs and targetsAnalytical skills, able to interpret various data to inform resourcing decisions, spot enquiries trends and use insights to inform service improvementsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a teamCIPD qualifiedStrong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, HR best practices,Strong communication skills with ability to influenceAbility to work in partnership with customers/stakeholdersExperience of driving continuous improvement culture
