As an Employee Relations Advisor at Travelodge, You’ll be part of a supportive central ER team, working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality ER service that balances employee wellbeing with business needs.
What’s it all about?
As an ER Advisor, you’ll be the go-to specialist for line managers seeking advice and support on all aspects of employee relations, from every day queries to more complex cases. You’ll provide timely, consistent, and solutions-focused guidance to help our managers confidently handle matters such as:
Conducting investigations into disputes and grievances
Hearing disciplinary & grievance cases, including those that are reported through our confidential whistleblowing portal
Ensuring processes are fair, consistent and legally compliant
Supporting managers to resolve issues at the earliest possible stage
Building manager capability through coaching and knowledge sharing
Alongside supporting our line managers, you’ll be expected to develop good working relationships with line managers in the area you support, using data to identify any trends and provide recommendations on training needs. You’ll also work closely with the Employee Relations Team Leader to manage cases through the ACAS and Tribunal process.

Who will this appeal to?
This role is best suited to someone who is:
Experienced in handling a broad range of employee relations cases
Knowledgeable of UK employment law and HR best practice
Confident in providing clear, pragmatic advice to line managers
Able to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
A strong communicator, with great attention to detail with the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
What are the extra bits?
This permanent role is part-time, working 30 hours each week.
Salary of up to £28,000 (equivalent of £35k FTE) - depending on experience
