Position Summary:
Performs all functions under the supervision of the Employee Health Nurse within the Employee Health and Wellness Office that serves the employee population.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Conducts health evaluations and screenings, immunizations, medical surveillance, TB testing, pre-employment health review and management of employees with work-related illnesses, injuries or exposures, and worker’s comp program duties*
*Maintains employee blood borne pathogen exposures and follow-up.*
*Assists in administering FMLA for employees. Relays permanent restrictions to the HR Director and employee’s manager.*
*Compiles new Employee Health records, chart audits for transfers and terminations.*
*Administers N-95 respirator protection program by performing fit test, coordinating new surveillance and training as needed.*
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Minimum Education*
High school diploma or equivalent
*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Certified Medical Assistant (within 6 months of hire)
