15080BRDepartment Name:HSP Employee Health Location:Jeff Levy Education Center Job Description:The Employee Health Services (EHS) Assistant provides clerical support to the EHS team, including support of day-to-day operations, OSHA mandated programs, special projects, and committees chaired by EHS. This position is the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for creating a positive first impression of the services provided in EHS.

Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years secretarial/clerical experience
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products with the ability to serve as a resource person
+ Knowledge of basic office equipment (fax machine, copy machine, printers)
+ Proficiency with keyboarding
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution
+ Possess initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
+ Must be able to prioritize and organize multiple projects and work requests to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate degree in business or administrative/secretarial field
+ 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting
+ Working knowledge of Visio and Sharepoint
