Overview The Employee Experience Business Partner (EEBP) serves a key role in fostering positive and engaging employee experience within a dynamic, matrixed financial services environment. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, focusing on onboarding, employee relations, performance support, and cultural initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences, driving engagement, and supporting HR operations that align with business goals. This role is instrumental in enhancing the employee journey, fostering engagement and retention, and deploying HR solutions that drive organizational success. The EEBP ensures day-to-day HR operations run smoothly while continuously seeking opportunities to elevate the employee experience. Position Goals: Enhance the Employee Experience: Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment by improving onboarding, promoting wellbeing initiatives, and ensuring employees feel supported throughout their journey. Serve as a Trusted HR Resource: Act as a primary contact for employee questions and concerns, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic guidance on HR policies, benefits, and workplace practices. Support Manager Effectiveness: Partner with managers to improve team performance through coaching, feedback, and development planning. Assist in resolving employee relations issues and implementing performance improvement strategies. Strengthen Cultural Alignment: Promote and model the organization’s values, contributing to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect. Support initiatives that reinforce cultural consistency across departments. Drive Operational Excellence in HR: Ensure HR processes such as onboarding, documentation, and internal communications are executed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. Collaborate with centralized HR teams to deliver seamless support. Responsibilities Employee Experience & Culture + Lead and continuously improve onboarding to ensure new hires feel welcomed and aligned with company values. + Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance on HR policies, benefits, and workplace practices. + Partner with cross-functional HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Employee Development) to deliver a seamless employee journey. + Support and promote initiatives that enhance workplace culture, employee wellbeing, and inclusion. Manager Support & Performance Enablement + Collaborate with managers to address performance concerns, coach on feedback delivery, and support development planning. + Assist in the execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, merit, and evaluations. + Provide guidance on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as needed. HR Operations & Compliance + Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Support HR reporting and analytics related to employee engagement, turnover, and performance trends. + Ensure consistent application of HR policies across departments while adapting to unique team needs. Employee Engagement & Retention + Organization and execution of employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and cultural events. + Gather employee feedback through surveys and informal channels; identify trends and recommend improvements. + Conduct needs assessments and deploy solutions to improve team performance and retention. + Champion a culture of respect, community, and continuous improvement. Special Projects & Additional Duties + Contribute to special initiatives and ad hoc assignments that support evolving business needs and personal professional development. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. + Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services setting. + Strong knowledge of HR practices including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. + High level of discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
