Employee Benefits Senior Account Executive

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid opportunity and this role requires onsite, in-office presence, up to 3 days per week at one of the following office locations: Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Miami, FL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or New Orleans, LA

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for working with large self-funded, captive and complicated accounts in our Florida and New Orleans offices. In this position, you will support Producers by analyzing claims data, assessing risk profiles, optimizing plan changes, and suggesting cost-saving strategies for self-funded accounts. Experience in self-funded plans, stop-loss coverage and cost containment strategies are essential.

Additionally the Senior Account Executive should be able to execute the following:

Provide expert advice and guidance on self-funded health plans, including plan design, cost containment strategies, and risk management solutions. Prepare and present detailed reports with actionable insights for agents, enabling them to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients.Oversee the claims process, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and ensuring accurate reporting. Analyze complex data, identify client needs, and develop tailored solutions. Analyze detailed claims data to identify trends, high-cost claims, and potential areas for improvement in self-funded health plans.Oversee claims monitoring and ensure accuracy in reporting for self-funded accounts, addressing any discrepancies or issues.Identify and resolve issues related to claims, plan design, and other aspects of self-insurance. Evaluate a company's risk profile and recommend suitable stop-loss coverage levels based on identified risks.

Qualified candidates will possess:

BA/BS preferred10+ years of health & welfare experience, meets, or exceeds, core practice competency-based skillsClient-facing experience in the employee benefit industryTechnical knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and servicesAbility to work independently and anticipate client and team needsEffective time management skills, including timely communication with clientsAbility to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communicationsDetail-orientedAdvanced critical thinking skillsStrong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skillsLife, Accident and Health Insurance License requiredGBA or CEBS Certification a plus
