POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Employee Benefits Advocate position a great starting point within our benefits consulting team, where you will be responsible providing concierge-level client and employee support, specializing in claims and enrollment resolution. This role will provide individuals with opportunities for career growth, development and mentorship. No previous insurance experience is required, and we will provide on the job training and career coaching for all new associates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Navigate healthcare landscape on behalf of clients’ employees to resolve claim and enrollment issues
Provide confidential one-on-one consultation and education to clients’ employees about their employer’s benefit design and plan options, including understanding the employee’s personal situation and how benefits will have an impact.
Includes in-bound and out-bound scheduling both onsite & virtually
Examples Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability Insurance, Pre-Tax Accounts and other voluntary benefits
Utilize Benefit Point to resolve and track activity
Support HUB’s Service platform during peak seasons (e.g. open enrollment meeting support, table sits, health fairs, material creation, peer review, etc.)
Support key client projects related to Employee Engagement (e.g. new hire orientations, health fairs, office hours/table sits, special enrollments, etc.)
Communicate engagement trends and escalate global carrier issues to Account Teams
Create client specific Engagement Dashboard reports upon request
Attend internal industry related education sessions and carrier updates
Deliver HUB service in alignment with corporate fundamentals

REQUIREMENTS:
4-year degree from an accredited University is preferred but not required
Prior health insurance, call center or customer service experience is highly preferred
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Work well in a team environment and independently.
Ability to act resourcefully and in an innovative way to solve problems and complete tasks.
Professional presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Strong interpersonal, excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
High energy, positive and winning attitude, determination to succeed.
Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and internet-based applications.
