What will you do?

As an Emissions Compliance Verifier, you will be responsible for verifying emissions data in the maritime sector and ensuring compliance with IMO DCS and EU ETS MRV regulations. The role involves reviewing Monitoring Plans and Emissions Reports, conducting risk assessments, and staying informed about environmental laws and decarbonization measures. You will also communicate findings and compliance requirements effectively to clients.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

•    Verifying emissions data for compliance with IMO DCS and EU ETS MRV regulations
•    Reviewing and approving Monitoring Plans and Emissions Reports
•    Conducting risk assessments and applying risk-based verification approaches
•    Keeping up to date with environmental legislation and EU ETS developments
•    Preparing clear and accurate compliance reports for stakeholders

Qualifications required:

•    Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or Environmental Engineering
•    Strong knowledge of MARPOL Annex VI, IMO DCS guidelines, and EU MRV/EU ETS regulations
•    Experience with fuel oil consumption data, SEEMP compliance, and CII
•    Competence in monitoring plan assessment, emissions verification, and materiality/uncertainty analysis
•    Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities
