Kforce has a client in Columbia, MD that is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and guide the company's fiscal strategy. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring financial integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: * Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives * Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities * Lead long-term financial forecasting and scenario planning Financial Operations & Reporting: * Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls * Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) * Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions Capital Management: * Optimize capital structure and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital * Lead fundraising efforts, including equity and debt financing * Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments Team Leadership: * Build and lead a high-performing finance team * Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Risk & Compliance: * Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies * Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements
