The listed minimum pay reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Provides Mental Health Screener functions and performs psychosocial assessments including collections of historical data, mental status assessments, and suicide risk assessments.
Consults and collaborates with medical center staff to coordinate interdepartmental patient services. Develops comprehensive and realistic treatment plans based on patient's needs.Provides short term follow-up to ensure linkage and stabilization. Provides advocacy and support to patients to secure treatment and services.Engages families, treatment providers, and other parties active in the well-being of the patient whenever possible. Provides technical support, assistance, and education to patients, families, and other patient service providers.Assumes the duties of charge person when required.Assumes the duties of mobile outreach on-call when required.Documents all telephone triage information; clinical assessment data; changes in mental status; and all communications related to patient referrals, transfers, and admissions in the patient record.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:Bachelor's degree.
Experience:Bachelor's degree and three years mental health experience, one of which must be in inpatient setting, Screening center or emergency service. OR Master's degree in a related field and one year mental health experience.
Other Credentials:AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider,Drivers License
Knowledge and Skills:
Special Training:Permanent NJ State Mental Health Screening Certification obtained within one year of hire.
