Emergency Medicine Physician

Merrimack Valley Emergency Associates (MVEA) is seeking an emergency physician for a full-time position at our Lowell General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Departments. LGH encompasses two campuses in Lowell, MA with a combined ED volume of approximately 90,000. The LGH-Main Campus is a Level III Trauma Center and primary PCI Center seeing approximately 55,000 visits annually while the LGH-Saints Campus is a 35,000 visit ED approximately 2.5 miles away. There is excellent hospitalist, intensivist, anesthesia, OB, pediatric, and multi-specialty support at both campuses. Our EHR is Epic and is deployed throughout the hospital system.

The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and will work between 1400-1600 hours annually. Other flexible or part-time arrangements are possible. Excellent compensation package includes hourly salary plus RVU based productivity bonus. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, malpractice, long and short term disability, and generous CME. Additionally we pay for all license fees and ACEP membership. Profit sharing and 401K plan includes a contribution from the group exceeding 16 percent of annual income.

Nocturnist position is available with additional attractive shift differential and potential for reduced annual hours and/or fixed schedule if desired.
