Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a full-time academic Emergency Medicine physician.  The successful candidate must be a residency trained, ABEM/ABOEM board certified / eligible physician with a demonstrated interest in academic emergency medicine as proven by performance in residency, fellowship training, or faculty positions. Emergency Medical Services, Ultrasound, Research, Critical Care, Medical Education, or Medical Simulation Fellowship trained physicians are particularly encouraged to apply. 

This opportunity includes the following:

Ability to join a faculty with commitment to excellence in practice, education and research in a >45,000 visit/year high acuity Emergency Department.Ability to contribute to educational mission of Mayo Clinic working closely with learners inside and outside of the Emergency Department (e.g. medical students, nursing students, residents from multiple specialties)A world-class multidisciplinary simulation centerNumerous opportunities for collaborative multi-disciplinary and multi-site research across Mayo Clinic
