**Description:**
**Primary Location: Muskegon**
**Full Time: Wed- Fri 3p-3a, 12-hour shifts, work 36 hours a week get paid for 40 hours.**
Performs basic life support procedures consistent with state and local operating protocols. Operates within the scope of practice covered by his/her licensure level under the direction of a physician and consistent with local standard operating protocols. Reports to Field Supervisor.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of a Emergency Medical Technician:**
+ Renders basic life support procedures to patients in a variety of settings consistent with state and local operating protocols.
+ Ability to provide good and accurate oral reports to designated medical personnel.
+ Completes all reports legibly, accurately and on a timely basis.
+ Performs all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional manner, always taking into account the wellbeing of the patient.
+ Provide medical examination and screening of patients consistent with Medical Control Authority protocols
+ Uses safety and PPE equipment as required by law and company policies.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:**
Current EMT Basic license from the State of Michigan.
Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe
driving history
