What will you do?Administer first aid and perform injury assessments in accordance with Medical Emergency Procedures, transferring care to ambulance services as needed Patrol buildings and grounds, inspect entry points, and monitor safety checkpoints to ensure facility security and compliance with safety and infection control standards Inspect and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements Complete and transfer patient care records, reports, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and all state and federal regulations Support departmental objectives by following established policies and assisting with pre-shift communications and procedural updates
More about youAbility to drive company vehicles, both standard and automatic transmissionEMT certification with a minimum of 1 year of experience High school diploma or GED required Must be able to obtain a New York State Racing and Wagering License Local, regional, and national travel as deemed necessary Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
Physical requirementsAbility to stand and walk for entire length of shift Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently Ability to lift and move 125 pounds or more on a regular basis as well as ability to lift and move adult patients
