The Delivery Payroll Lead EMEA provides strategic leadership and oversight for BP's payroll administration services across the EMEA region. This role is responsible for leading and driving operations strategy across the region, overseeing local payroll teams, and supporting the global BP payroll strategy. The individual ensures team members deliver best-in-class services that add value to BP employees and the P&C community by providing expert advice to their queries. This role represents the Budapest centre in any global forum driving initiatives and improving service performance.
In this role You will:
Manage Payroll administration teams across multiple countries and at various seniority levels.Complex process management and business interactions in an international environment. Ensure processes are embedded and adhered to consistently throughout multiple teams, lead the team in delivering the defined set of critical metrics. Ensure horizontal and vertical alignment of strategic direction and ‘vision’ for respective services to ensure teams are operating in alignment with global process and customer needs as well as adhere to local legislation – work collaboratively with Global Experience Owner (GEO) and Global Solution owner (GSO) closely. Develop and maintain sound working relationships with key partners at all levels within the organisation. Develop the organizational and people capabilities that will enable the team to continuously excel. Enable the team to identify trends and opportunities that drive operational improvements. Deep involvement in projects/ initiatives locally, regionally and globally. Represent the team to internal and external audiences regarding complex operational issues. Acting as a customer concern point for local payroll leads and support issue resolution.Recognise the need for and lead through change management initiatives while maintaining and driving team engagement. Plan & complete tactical and longer term operation strategy in Payroll Delivery area. Be an active member of the P&C s+s Budapest management community, role modelling bp Code of Conduct and take a driving role in engagement initiatives.
What You will need to be successful:
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing a client-service oriented function with experience in management of large corporate initiatives/projects, critical thinking, relationship management, financial budgets and processes. Breadth and depth across the HR technical areas and able to provide professional advice and experience in managing admin / payroll team.Prior experience in HR Shared Service / service centre in a multi-national organisation, multi-national and multi-lingual environment.Proven track record in managing delivery teams in a shared service environment in a multi- national organization.Developing specific technical capability and experience in talent management, employee relations, change management, and organisational development and effectiveness (including coaching, organisation design, facilitation, and team development). Understanding of Payroll, Social Security and Taxation requirements and processes.Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development and driving strong performance within a diverse team.Experience in leading leaders.Proven track record in delivering high quality customer experience. A passion and interest in emerging trends in customer experience and how this can enhance business performance. Striving for problem solving attitude (including diagnosis, critical thinking), comfortable using analytics to identify outcomes and influence decision making. Strong communication skills and strong partner management skills.Digital fluency - not only comfortable and competent using technology to enable and enhance ways of working and thinking, also comfortable in the wider digital environment including people, processes and data driven actions.
