**Introduction**
Objective of the job:
The role of the EMEA IBM Financing Business Support Specialist, Account and Collections Management is to provide highly effective debt collection service maximizing IBM’s cash flow, to ensure smooth order and credit line management in support of IBMs channel business via Commercial Financing while upholding financial and operational integrity consistently.
**Your role and responsibilities**
Responsibilities:
* Complete regular review with Credit and Sales of partners' collateral position to support current and future financing volumes. Ensure that necessary documentation is collected accordingly and timely.
* Monitor and proactively work on ensuring smooth credit and order management activities; addresses and resolves pending cases involving Sales and Pan-European Account Manager.
* Understand monthly collection targets and ensure timely cash collection of outstanding debt for the COF and CUF business lines. This includes, but is not limited to the day-to-day monitoring and follow up, tracking of disputes, requiring necessary information for allocations and weekly reporting to management on outstanding AR.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all partners (external and internal) and act as main point of contact between IBMF AR and respective IBM units, functions that IBMF collaborate with.
* Identify and escalate collection issues timely with the responsible management line and respective IBM units.
* Ensure accounts operate within approved guidelines and obtains the appropriate level of management approval in exception situations
* Ensure collection efforts, client communications are documented in a timely and accurate manner
* Attain necessary system and process knowledge and ensure best practice sharing to accurately execute IBMF operational processes.
* Support control reviews of any kind, corporate audits and external engagements as appropriate
* Maintain a satisfactory business controls posture and ensure full compliance with SOX controls.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Required skills, education and experience:
* High level of accuracy with good attention to details and numerical skills
* Demonstrate good knowledge of the End-to-End EMEA IBMF AR processes and systems/applications. Essential is an understanding of IBM internal organizational structure and responsibilities
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Professional attitude and presentation

* Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills

* Bachelor’s degree is preferred
