DuPont is seeking to hire a Health Services Leader and Occupational Hygiene Lead Consultant for the EMEA Region. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing and coordinating occupational health (OH) and occupational medicine (OM) services across all sites/locations in EMEA region, besides providing and delivering local OH and OM services for Liberec site. The candidate will also provide Industrial Hygiene (IH) consulting for EMEA locations where additional IH support is needed.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, creative, conscientious individual who will bring a passion for people to ensure that health services is a fundamental component of business success. Approximately 5-10% travel will be required.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide site OH and OM services per local regulatory and company requirements, including medical surveillance, fitness for duty assessments, disability case management, risk assessment, etc.…Provide and coordinate emergency medical care at the site. Provide training to site first aid responders.Facilitate local and regional employee health and mental wellbeing promotion and education initiatives, as well as training in OH and OM.Drive EMEA Health Services Team to further develop and improve standards, strategies, compliance, and standardization.Prepare and deliver leadership level presentations.Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and external third-party vendors and networks to drive results.Provide medical case management for workplace injuries and illnesses, and early reporting of symptoms.Participate as a critical member of the company Pandemic Team. Assist with assessment and tracing of exposures and infectious diseases within the workplace.Oversee regional medical surveillance programs, including Respiratory Protection Program, Hearing Conservation Program, HAZWOPER physicals and be knowledgeable regarding local and regional regulatory requirements.Maintain confidentiality of health information in accordance with professional codes, statutes, and regulations.Continue professional development to enhance professional growth and maintain competency in the form of ongoing continuing education and certification to support licensing requirements.Participate in external professional occupational organizations.Providing Industrial Hygiene (IH) consulting for the EMEA locations where additional IH support is needed, including hazards identification, risk assessment, developing monitoring plans, hazard prevention strategies, ergonomics improvements and managing IH systems and databases etc.,

To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

Licensed as a medical doctor and certified in occupational medicine by the Czech Ministry of Health or other approved health authorities.  Minimum of five years recent experience in occupationalExperience in Industrial Hygiene is preferred.Keen interest in Industrial Hygiene and be willing to develop this expertise.Current and valid physician license and occupational medicine certification.Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or occupational environment.Solid knowledge of and experience in:Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and ComplianceDisability Case ManagementOccupational Injury/Illness Case Management Medical SurveillanceAbility to multi-task and prioritize complex workload.Ability to work in an international context and collaborate across different cultures.Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, troubleshoot and solve problems.Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative manner in a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated skills in planning, scheduling, and budget maintenance.Excellent communication skills (written and oral).Proficient with e-mail, internet browsers, Microsoft APPs.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).Ability and willingness to work long hours in emergency situations.Fluent in Czech and at minimum conversational English.
