The EMEA Head of Equity Derivatives Production Support is accountable for the management of a complex Equity Derivatives trading and risk technology environment, and for the provision of technology support to a large scale business. The role leads and directs a team of professionals based in London, Paris and Pune, and requires a comprehensive understanding of derivatives trading & risk management and how technology helps to achieve the objectives of the business.
Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. The role faces off to senior stakeholders in Trading, Control Functions and Application Development. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally and influence outcomes, often at a senior level.
Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Experience of managing a Production Support function in a fast-paced, trading or risk management businessSenior to advanced level experience in an Apps Support role with commensurate experience in people management.Strong technical background; SQL, Windows, Linux. Previous scripting or coding experience an advantageExperience of senior stakeholder managementProject management with demonstrable results in improving IT services, including resiliency, efficiency, risk and controlsCapacity Planning/Forecasting exposure a plusEffectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teamsAbility to plan and organize workloadConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsAn additional responsibility of this role is to provide senior leadership across the Markets business in the adoption of enhanced Resiliency capabilities. This will involve:
