Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge software solutions for next-generation automotive systems. This role focuses on designing and implementing high-performance, safe, and innovative embedded software for machine learning applications on SoCs. The ideal candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization, embedded system design, and algorithm development.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI and computer vision technologies into real-time automotive environments, leveraging DSPs, accelerators, and embedded platforms. This position requires a solid foundation in embedded software engineering, a deep understanding of processor architectures, and hands-on experience with C/C++, RTOS, and performance tuning.
Job Summary:

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• BSEE required, MSEE preferred with at least 4 years of industry related experience
• Embedded software development
• Working knowledge of C/C++, assembly, and scripting tools such as Python/Perl
• Working knowledge of processor architecture & micro-architecture (SIMD/GPGPU/NEON)
• Solid hands-on software design and development experience on complex embedded computing platforms
• Solid math/algorithmic knowledge, especially in the areas of deep learning, computer vision, or driver monitoring
• Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools such as git
• Good analytical skills
• Attention to detail, self-motivated
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and team player
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Prior knowledge of DSP programming and framework (i.e.: OpenCL, OpenGL, CUDA) development including analysis, performance benchmarking, low level debugging
• Experience with compiler optimizations
• Experience with embedded RTOS (Linux, QNX, GHS INTEGRITY, or similar)
• Knowledgeable about ASPICE, MISRA/Autosar C++14, automotive development processes
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
