Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our hardware platform team and take ownership of software bring-up and driver development for a new product based on a familiar platform. This role is critical to supporting ongoing development and integration of Altera Stratix 10 FPGA with PCIe, Embedded Linux, and Marvell networking switches. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring close collaboration with hardware teams and direct involvement in platform bring-up and low-level software development.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Linux device drivers for Altera Stratix 10 FPGA and Marvell switches.Perform hardware bring-up and platform initialization.Work with Marvell SDKs to integrate and configure switch functionality.Debug and validate PCIe interfaces and embedded Linux components.Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions.Essential SkillsEmbedded CLinux development, including device driver development and board bring-up.Solid understanding of Linux kernel internals (not kernel porting, but kernel-level development).Experience with PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express)Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work independently and on-site with hardware.Work Environment

This is an onsite role in Nepean. This position is part of the hyperconverged solutions team, working on-site with hardware. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team powering live productions for billions of viewers around the world. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
