At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

Your task will be:

Design, implement and maintain features on embedded platformsDevelop in embedded C/C++, unit test, integrate, benchmark, and document embedded softwareBring up ideas on how to improve our current system Performing code reviews Driving tasks on your own and organize yourself Know-how sharing
What we will appreciate from you:Solid computer science background is a must.Proficiency in C/C++ is a must for day to day work.Ability to understand assembly codeFundamental knowledge of RTOS principles and experience with one specific RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, eCos, Zephyr)Ability to understand basics of HWKnowledge of well-known network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ARP etc.)Ability and willingness to use high-level/scripting languages to continuously improve development infrastructure
