As the Engineering Tech Lead Manager, you will lead and guide a talented team of tech leads in the development of cutting-edge connected devices. Your expertise in product architecture, design, project management, process, and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure products.

Partner with the other functional team members to deliver high quality products, on time and in scope.  Take strategic decisions that continuously improves the team structure and ability to deliver. Ensure that global teams are highly organized and have the tools to work seamlessly across time zones. Partner and manage external design resources as needed. Participate in periodic resource planning ensuring project are staffed appropriately. Recommending & drive process improvements to improve team efficiency. Develop a world-class Engineering Team by actively managing the careers, training, and performance of the engineering team. Support development of multi-generation product plans and roadmaps for Comfort product lines. Ensure that appropriate technologies are identified, researched, and developed for timely introduction into Resideo products and systems. Ensure that firmware architecture, design and development support common platforms, maximize reuse and reduce product development cycle time.

 

YOU MUST HAVE:

5+ years of engineering management, or technical leadership, experience 10+ years of experience in embedded product development 3+ years of experience in embedded product requirement creation 3+ years of experience in product development lifecycle 3+ years of experience with coordinating dependencies between the engineering functions, such as firmware, mechanical, hardware, and software engineering team members.
