Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Change & Release Manager with proven experience in Embedded Software & Systems, preferably within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry. You will play a key role in leading and coordinating change and release efforts within product development – in close collaboration with system engineers, software teams, and test environments.

Responsibilities

Lead change and release activities within Embedded Systems, with a focus on SW/HW integration.

Establish and follow up on processes according to SSCR or equivalent change models.

Plan and follow up on integration activities (e.g., test weeks, PI planning).

Support teams in managing Jira – including workflow configuration, integrations, and traceability.

Coordinate dependencies between software and hardware in complex project environments.

Ensure that requirements and architecture (SESAMM, TEESA) are handled in line with the customer’s processes.

Qualifications

Requirements (must be met)

At least 7 years of experience in Embedded Systems, with several years in Change & Release Management.

Documented experience with SSCR or equivalent SW/HW change management processes.

Experience with platforms such as OAS, OnePDP, or equivalent.

Solid understanding of SESAMM and TEESA or similar architectures.

Proficient in working with Jira – including configuration, administration, and integration.

Prior experience with scaled agile practices (e.g., SAFe), including PI planning and integration weeks.

Fluent in spoken and written English – the role requires daily communication in international environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Background from OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers within the automotive/heavy vehicle industry.

Experience in test management or system integration.

Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
