The Opportunity: 

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of their IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure. 

 

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Email Services Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency.  The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Information Services (CIS) contract. 

 

 Responsibilities: 

Serve as a key member of global, 24/7 operations coverage, supporting infrastructure, devices, products, and solutions. 

Analyze requirements, concepts of operations, and system architectures to deploy and maintain engineered and tested email components. 

Collaborate with Engineering teams and Government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure availability, resiliency, and operability objectives. 

Provide Tier 2 incident analysis and resolution, troubleshooting, break/fix activities, and hands-on support for email services. 

Monitor and manage email system usage, ensuring classification markings, security, and audit capabilities meet IC and DoDIIS requirements. 

Maintain availability, resiliency, and reliability of email components in accordance with message delivery SLAs. 

Oversee inbound and outbound connections, relays, proxies, and infrastructure for multi-site email delivery. 

Enforce audit, archiving, and retention policies, ensuring compliance with IC, DoDIIS, DoD, and federal regulations. 

Coordinate with other Operations teams on data and storage performance optimization for email services. 

Generate documentation, reports, and data as outlined in contract requirements (CDRL A015). 

Conduct patch management for workstations and servers across all networks and security domains. 

Use Lab facilities to investigate incidents, resolve problems, and validate designs and technologies before deployment. 

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Must hold a current Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible 

A BS/BA in Science, Technology, or Engineering and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience,  AS/AA and 14+ years of experience 

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions. 

Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate 

Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+) 

Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies. 

Desired:  

Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments 

Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM systems 

ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
