Email Marketing Manager

Position Summary:
SAS is seeking a data-driven and creative Email Marketing Manager to help grow our direct-to-consumer business by owning and optimizing our email marketing programs. You’ll play a key role in deepening customer relationships, increasing retention, and driving revenue across both eCommerce and retail channels.
This role is ideal for someone who loves testing, segmentation, and storytelling.
Responsibilities:Email & SMS Strategy
+ Plan, build, and deploy campaigns across email using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
+ Own calendar planning for promotional, seasonal, and triggered campaigns in alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
+ Develop messaging strategies that reflect SAS’s brand tone and product benefits, including comfort, fit, and heritage.
Lifecycle & Automation
+ Own and optimize automated flows: Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, and Reactivation.
+ Partner with design and copy teams to refresh assets and improve conversion performance.
+ Use dynamic content, segmentation, and behavioral triggers to personalize communications.
List Growth & Segmentation
+ Collaborate on lead capture strategies and on-site popups to grow subscriber lists.
+ Build and maintain segmentation strategies to target consumer segments.
+ Ensure list health and compliance with deliverability best practices and privacy standards (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR).
Analytics & Optimization
+ Monitor and report on key KPIs: open rate, CTR, conversion rate, revenue per send, list growth.
+ Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing, and CTAs to optimize performance.
+ Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
Qualifications:
+ 3–5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably in eCommerce or retail.
+ Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar ESPs; basic HTML knowledge a plus.
+ Strong understanding of segmentation, automation, and testing strategies.
+ Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
+ Collaborative, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple campaigns at once.
+ Passion for customer experience, storytelling, and continuous improvement.
