District located in Nashville, TN
Position: Elementary Special Education Teacher Start Date: 8/18/25 Length: 36 weeks, 25-26 school year Shift: Monday-Friday | 37.5 Hrs/wk
Classroom Openings/setting:
-5th grade- 16-18 students on caseload -4/5th grade- 12-15 students -3rd grade- 12-15 students
-co-teaching model so they will have a gen ed teacher in with them too, 22-25 students in classroom -Lots of parapro support -Behaviors in school are not high magnitude, mostly work refusal, some elopement -Have a school psych onsite that supports SEL as well as a dean of culture -Have a BT and SLP/OT support as well
Requirements/Credentials: TN Teaching with 144, 460 or 461 endorsement
