Ogden Street Buffalo , NY 14210 Certified - Area - Elementary Job Number 3300052819 Start Date Open Date 07/25/2025 Closing Date 07/30/2025 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER - KINDERGARTEN PRIMARY GRADES (K-3) To develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in an educational program for Kindergarten through third grade children and assist in other school programs Representative Duties and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assess pupil needs and provide instruction, guidance, motivation and appropriate learning activities to develop concepts in all subject areas listed in the Course of Study adopted by the South Buffalo Charter School's Board of Trustees + Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth and keep records + Prepare evaluations and communicate with parents on individual pupil progress and needs + Provide parents with information on educational programs within the school + Cooperate with other professional staff in formulating school rules and policies and in developing curriculum and evaluation procedures + Assist in selecting and requisitioning books, instructional aides and supplies + Perform basic attendance and classroom accounting + Establish and maintain, in cooperation with the school principal, a safe and functional learning environment + Participate in school-wide curriculum development + Participate in school-wide professional development + Maintain competence through self-selected professional growth activities + Assist other staff members in helping pupils solve health, attitude and learning problems Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Director's designee Education, Experience, and other Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Credential: NYS General Elementary or Standard Elementary Education: Bachelor's degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirement Pay range is $43,430.00 to $81,367.14 based on years of service Please submit, through email, your interest in this position by July 30, 2025 Email Resume & Cover Letter to: Mr. David B.
