Electrophysiology Technician
Job Summary Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Technician at Novant Health Position: Electrophysiology (EP) Technician Location: Cardiology Clinic, Winston-Salem NC Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Are you passionate about advancing heart health through cutting-edge technology? Novant Health is seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative environment, directly impacting patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist in performing electrophysiology procedures, including catheter insertions and mapping. Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring all instruments are sterile and functional. Monitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures. Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program or equivalent exp. Two year’s experience working in a cardiac office or hospital setting, Required. Certification in electrophysiology or related field preferred. CCT or CRAT obtained in 1 yr of start date, Required. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Why Novant Health? Experience: Two year’s experience working in a cardiac office or hospital setting, required. Licensure/Certification: CCT or CRAT obtained in 1 yr of start date, required. Additional Skills Required: Basic knowledge of pacemaker/defibrillator function. Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to cardiology. Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets. Additional Skills Preferred: International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Cardiac Device Certification preferred, strongly encouraged.
