All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** PRN **Shift** : Days **The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Carrollwood Family-like culture Teamwork driven both inter Dept and multidisciplinary Positive working climate to support a well-balanced work life balance **The role you'll contribute:** The Electrophysiology Staff Technician (RN/Technologist) provides direct patient care assisting the physician during cardiac, vascular and electrophysiological invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ensures the safe operation of all equipment used in the EP labs. Works under the direction of physician. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to cardiac catheterization lab standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Prepares the patient for procedures, monitors, positions, and assists the patient during procedures. Assists the physician throughout the procedure. Assesses the procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Safely operates electrophysiology support equipment including EP recording system, 3D mapping, and EP stimulator, and maintains medical devices. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** Associate degree Must be a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Tech, Respiratory Therapist, or Radiology Technologist 3 requires three years of clinical experience in electrophysiology lab Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
