Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to troubleshoot electronic components to the component level. The role involves testing mechanical and electronic equipment, adhering to AS9100 standards, and utilizing test equipment as needed. The technician will read blueprints and schematics for testing purposes and conduct tests using vibration tables and thermal chambers. Familiarity with LabVIEW standards for testing is required, as well as documenting test procedures according to AS9100, IPC-610 standards.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot electronic components to the component level.Conduct testing and troubleshooting off of AS9100 standards.Test mechanical and electronic equipment using test equipment as needed.Read and interpret blueprints/schematics for testing purposes.Perform tests utilizing vibration tables and thermal chambers.Use LabVIEW standards for testing.Document test procedures following AS9100, IPC-610 standards.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree or trade school degree in engineering or technical field preferred.Proficiency in troubleshooting complex assemblies down to the component level.Experience in building automated test equipment.Ability to run test procedures from start to finish.Strong documentation skills for test procedures.Knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100, IPC-610.Additional Skills & QualificationsExposure to LabVIEW for reading and running test procedures is a plus.Work Environment
The position involves working on the floor with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality personnel. You will report to the Test Supervisor. We are looking for two technicians for the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and one technician for the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This role offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee in a busy environment that has never experienced layoffs. There is potential to extend or gain a full-time position.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.17 - $35.00/hr.
