Job Description:
As an Electronics Technician, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced production and R&D environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. The Electronics Technician will fabricate, test, and troubleshoot complex wiring harnesses and electronic systems for various unmanned aerospace applications. In this role, you will be a part of the Agile Development Group which is a division that specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other technicians to address design and production issuesAssemble, route, and install wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructionsAssemble custom test equipment according to engineering drawings, interconnect diagrams and instructions using mechanical and electrical skillsPopulate circuit cards using approved soldering techniques both through hole and surface mountInspect and test harness assemblies for continuity, shorts, and proper operation using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipmentDiagnose and repair issues with wiring harnesses, connectors, and related componentsProvide constructive feedback on engineering designs to improve manufacturability and functionality of electronic assembliesRecommend updates for existing processes and work instructions as neededEnsure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulationsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiencyWork in a team setting collaborating with manufacturing, planning and engineeringLifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying 25-50 pounds on a regular basis.Walking, bending, sitting, standing, climbing, and reaching for prolonged periods of time on a regular basis.Ability to seize, grasp, turn, hold, and operate manufacturing tools and equipment.Willingness and ability to comply with all applicable PPE requirements (respirators, safety glasses, gloves, etc).Qualifications:
