Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced, Electronics Quality Inspector, for a leading Robotics Company in the north Knoxville area.  This will start out as a 6-month contract position with the intention of converting to permanent employment.  Our client is targeting $25.00 an hour for this role.

Per diem and/or relocation assistance is not being offered.   

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems based on schematics and wiring diagrams. Write work instructions and test procedures for inspection. Build test fixtures to circuit board assemblies in inspection to do function tests. Read and understand schematics for circuit board assemblies. Read and understand wiring diagrams. Re-work and repair circuit board assemblies when required. Solder and build cable harnesses when required.
Education / Experience: High School diploma or associate degree required. 2- 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/machine shop environment. Demonstrated experience in quality control related to circuit board assemblies and cable harnesses. Knowledge of IPC-620 and J-STD-001 (preferred not required). Familiarity with 5S standards and ISO 9001. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
