About the Job
This position minimizes unplanned downtime of production equipment. Duties range from routine maintenance to complex electrical troubleshooting and responsibility for calibrating, programming, installing and troubleshooting instrumentation such as temperature, pressure and level transmitters and control valves.
Key Responsibilities: This role involves operating, installing and repairing electronic and electromechanical equipment including programming PLCs/PCs and designing control systems. Responsibilities include maintaining power distribution systems, performing complex repairs per NEC, 70E, and OSHA standards and troubleshooting control systems. The position supports junior staff, provides feedback for equipment improvements, maintains documentation, ensures a clean and safe work area and performs lubrication and other assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronics or a related electrical fieldMinimum of one year of factory experienceMinimum of 5 years of maintenance-related experienceJourneyman Electrician status or willingness to attain through the State E&I Program
Skills:
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with high mental/manual skill and independenceKnowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, AC/DC systems, and 480V three-phase powerSkilled in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and NEC complianceProficient in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationEffective communicator with strong safety awareness
