We are seeking an Electronics engineer to join our forward-thinking team. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge electronic systems for our state-of-the-art medical robotic solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of groundbreaking technologies that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.
Your RoleLead the electronic design of electronics, prioritizing performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturability
Work closely with mechatronics and mechanical engineers, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration into the robotic system
Define and analyze electronics requirements based on product specifications and regulatory standards, translating them into robust design solutions
Research and select electronic components that meet system requirements and align with the technology roadmap
Oversee electronic hardware development, including schematic design, PCB layout, and prototype testing
Identify potential design risks and implement mitigation strategies
Create comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and test plans, to support product development and regulatory submissions
Stay updated on advancements in electronics and medical robotics, applying relevant technologies to enhance product performance
Efficiently manage project timelines, budgets, and resources of electronics, ensuring successful project completion and stakeholder satisfaction
Your ProfileMaster's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field
Several years proven experience in electronics design and development, preferably in medical device or robotics industries
Strong proficiency in electronic design tools, simulation software, and PCB design tools.
Expertise in sensor integration, analog and digital circuit design, power management, and signal processing and cabling
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards applicable to medical devices, such as IEC 60601
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges and optimize designs for performance and reliability
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems is a plus
Fluency in English and German
