Description:The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team.
Location: This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
In this role, you will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
• Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadership.
• Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
• 9+ years professional experience; 7+ years with Masters degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
• Hardware development experience
• Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
• Experience with interconnect design
• Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE
• Experience leading projects teams and development efforts
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
• Issue Tracking experience
• Willing and able to to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
• Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
• Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech products.
• Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations
• Experience troubleshooting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
