Job Summary:
+ Solder, assemble and test solder electronic components, PCBA’s, and cable assemblies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Inspection of soldering to IPC-610 standard (Class 3).
+ Assemble mechanical/electronic components according to manufacturing work instructions.
+ Build cable assemblies & solder electronic components/connectors.
+ Test simple electronic assemblies.
+ Follow ordering procedures for inventory stock levels (kanban).
+ Follow all work instructions and procedures.
+ Maintain a clean and organized environment.
+ Adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Including the 5 “S” Principles, ISO, misc. quality system procedures
Requirements:
+ Education: High School with commensurate experience or post-secondary certificate in related field.
Required Experience:
+ IPC-610 Class 3 Soldering and Inspection Surface mount soldering, solder inspection, cable assembly.
+ Must be able to use hand tools for assembly when required.
+ Must be detail oriented, precise and fast learner.
+ Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/drawings.
Communication:
+ Must be fluent in English. Must be self-motivated and be able to communicate well.
Effort Factors:
+ Physical Demands: (If applicable) Ability to work with a microscope occasionally.
+ Good hand eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly Occasionally lifting < 50 lbs.
Mental Demands:
+ Fast paced, working towards critical deadlines.
Working Conditions:
+ Test lab environment.
