Electronic Technician - Part-Time (Up to 39 Hours/Week + Benefits)

Summary:  Are you a skilled technician with a passion for security systems and hands-on problem-solving? Join our team as an Electronic Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing advanced security equipment across critical facilities. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and eligibility for company benefits. Requires 100% travel throughout the larger metro area and travel to neighboring states (up to 20%).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on electronic security systems (ESS)Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issuesInterpret technical diagrams and schematicsReplace or repair faulty components and wiringConfigure computers, communication devices, and peripheralsProvide technical support to fellow technicians during system restoration

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree in a technical field or in lieu of the degree 12+ years of relevant experienceMinimum 8 years of hands-on experience with ESS, including:Video surveillance systemsAccess control systemsIntercomsIntrusion detection systemsSecurity gatesFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usageMust be able to pass a moderate suitability (customer) background checkAbility to travel frequently within the metro area and occasionally to neighboring states
