Job Title: Electronic Systems Architect

The role:
The client is looking for an experienced Electronic Systems Architect to support the development and integration of advanced embedded systems within high-tech defense products. The role involves end-to-end technical management, from initial system analysis through design, integration, and validation of multidisciplinary electronic architectures.
Responsibilities:
Define and manage system architecture for embedded electronics (control systems, computing, video processing, actuators, power distribution)
Translate system requirements into sub-system specifications and logical/physical architectures
Lead technical workstreams, design reviews, and interdisciplinary technical meetings
Coordinate internal and external design activities, suppliers, and engineering disciplines
Support integration, prototyping, and testing phases for new product development
Analyze client needs and lead technical feasibility assessments
Develop and maintain system documentation and technical specifications
Assist procurement and quality teams with technical expertise during supplier interactions
Provide warranty support and technical issue resolution post-delivery
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
At least 3–5 years of experience in electronic systems architecture and design
Solid background in embedded systems and multi-disciplinary product development
Experience in system engineering and requirement management is a strong plus
Excellent communication skills in both French and English
Capable of working autonomously with strong organizational skills
Able to lead cross-functional technical teams and meet budget, quality, and timing goals
Willingness to travel occasionally in Belgium and internationally
