Major Duties :1. Monitors client wire transactions ensuring smooth
transmission from start to finish.
2. Interprets account transaction information ensuring
accurate processing in a work unit.
3. Investigates and resolves exceptions,
communicating solutions verbal or written
form to appropriate parties.
4. Provides technical support for area.
5. Communicates with other banks, Federal Reserve,
and internal areas to resolve problems and respond
to inquiries.
6. Verifies foreign trade information with brokers
and/or banks.
7. Interacts with systems as the primary contact
regarding systems problems and changes.
8. Responsible for training new staff.
9. Makes recommendations to manager on
procedure changes.
Knowledge :Knowledge of financial industry operations, usually
obtained through training or experience, is required
to monitor exception/reject account transactions.
Knowledge of funds transfer operations, usually
obtained through prior experience, is required to
interpret information regarding account transactions.
Analytical skills are required to research and resolve
inquiries.
Experience :1-2 years experience in the financial industry
operations environment.
Language requirement : Spanish speaking - proficient.
Salary Range:
$47,035 - 65,895 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
